Job summary

Cadence Education in Louisville, KY is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children's physical, social, emotional, and developmental growth, including those with IEPs.

You will participate in curriculum delivery, build positive relationships with families, and ensure safety and licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher.
• Experience in early childhood or group care is preferred.
• Ability to obtain health screenings and background clearances.
• CDA preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing individual developmental, behavioral, and learning needs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and delivering curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families using approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in managing child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Adhere to Cadence Education policies and procedures.
