Job summary

Cadence Education in West Bridgewater, MA is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations under the guidance of the School Director and Lead Teacher. This role helps create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children's growth and adheres to licensing requirements.

You will assist in curriculum delivery, establish positive relationships with children and families, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required if licensing requirements are met.
• Ability to obtain and maintain background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity, respect, and care.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents as required.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to Employee Handbook policies and participate in required meetings and trainings.
