Job summary

The Learning Experience - Cheshire, CT is seeking a caring, energetic Teacher to join our team. You will create a safe, loving classroom for infants and implement the LEAP Curriculum to support early development. You will build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.

We value teamwork, passion for early childhood education, and compliance with CT licensing and safety standards. Opportunities for growth and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred).
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude!

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
• Implement our fun, hands-on L.E.A.P. Curriculum to support early learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.
• Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
• Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Ensure compliance with all Connecticut state licensing and safety standards.
