The Learning Experience Enfield, CT is seeking a caring Teacher to join our team and help our littlest learners explore the world around them. This role offers a supportive, family-like atmosphere with growth and professional development opportunities.

You will create a safe, loving classroom for infants, implement LEAP Curriculum, and build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates and milestones. Meet CT state requirements for Early Childhood Teacher.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred) working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
• Implement our LEAP Curriculum to support early learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.
• Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
• Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety standards.
