The Learning Experience - Cheshire, CT is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. You will create a warm, nurturing classroom where preschoolers develop confidence and essential early skills through our L.E.A.P. curriculum and hands-on learning.

We value dedicated educators who foster social, emotional, and academic growth, collaborate with families, and help children prepare for kindergarten in a supportive, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Two or more years of professional childcare, preschool, or teaching experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to meet all state licensing requirements.
• Minimum one year of professional experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed setting.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports school readiness.
• Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. curriculum to foster development.
• Plan and lead hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and exploration.
• Support children's growth in literacy, language, mathematics, science, and social skills.
• Foster independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills through purposeful play.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's growth, achievements, and classroom experiences.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with state licensing requirements.
• Create a warm and welcoming environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported.
