YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking Early Education Preschool Teachers for its Child Development Programs across Boston. We require EEC-certified teachers to provide engaging, infant-toddler-preschool care in a family-centered environment.

The role emphasizes safety, developmental activities, and collaboration with families and co-teachers. Responsibilities include planning curriculum, assessing children, and upholding YMCA values.

Formación

• Must hold EEC Certification.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• First Aid and CPR certification within six months.
• Complete Child Abuse Prevention Training within 60 days.
• Complete Bloodborne Pathogen Training and Sexual Harassment Training within 60 days.

Responsabilidades

• Keep children safe as the top priority and support their emotional well-being.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum to foster development.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet individual needs.
• Conduct child assessments and share feedback with families.
• Model YMCA character values for children, staff and families.
• Promote positive behavior using constructive methods across the team.
• Supervise children to ensure safety and smooth transitions.
• Collaborate with co-teacher to prepare classroom materials and setup.
