Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations and Cadence programs. Under leadership, you will create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children's physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs, including those with IEPs.

You will help maintain routines, assist curriculum delivery, and build positive relationships with children and families while ensuring licensing compliance. Start TODAY with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures including allergy, feeding and Safe Sleep practices.
• Read, write and speak English effectively.
• State licensing qualifications for teachers in childcare centers.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity and care.
• Greet children and families and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs including IEPs.
• Support the Lead Teacher with developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence tools.
• Follow the Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in documenting and escalating child behaviors per policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Attend required meetings, trainings and professional development.
