Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC preschool certification is required.
• Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree in early childhood (or related field) preferred.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole or Arabic helpful but not required.
• All candidates must pass CORI, DCF, SORI and fingerprint background checks before employment.
• Posting date 8/19/26; application deadline 9/1/26 or until a suitable candidate is found.
• Valid MA state driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily lesson & curriculum plans using Creative Curriculum.
• Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment supporting physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Perform teaching activities that align with Head Start Performance Standards.
