Qualifications

• Meets a Colorado Early Childhood Teacher qualification pathway, or willingness to obtain one within the school’s credentialing timeline.
• Loves young children and the toil of the day; works with joy, patience, and diligence.
• Strong written and oral communication; contributes to a culture of respect and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily instruction using poetry, chants, jingles, song, and hands-on activities, with biblical truth woven through every subject
• Keep a well-ordered, beautiful classroom with clear routines for attendance, cleaning, and materials
• Train children in character, manners, respect, and care of property, and walk them through peacemaking when conflicts arise
• Direct your Teacher Assistant or Versatile Teacher so every adult in the room adds to instruction
• Observe and record each child’s progress; consult with the Preschool Director on interventions
• Help families understand classical Christian education as opportunities arise
• Maintain active supervision and Colorado licensing compliance (ratios, attendance, health and safety, documentation), including Office of Early Childhood and Douglas County Health requirements
• Complete required trainings and support ECPC/PDIS credential verification
• Join school events such as Open House, Art Night, and Parent-Teacher Conferences
