• Lead daily instruction using poetry, chants, jingles, song, and hands-on activities, with biblical truth woven through every subject
• Keep a well-ordered, beautiful classroom with clear routines for attendance, cleaning, and materials
• Train children in character, manners, respect, and care of property, and walk them through peacemaking when conflicts arise
• Direct your Teacher Assistant or Versatile Teacher so every adult in the room adds to instruction
• Observe and record each child’s progress; consult with the Preschool Director on interventions
• Help families understand classical Christian education as opportunities arise
• Maintain active supervision and Colorado licensing compliance (ratios, attendance, health and safety, documentation), including Office of Early Childhood and Douglas County Health requirements
• Complete required trainings and support ECPC/PDIS credential verification
• Join school events such as Open House, Art Night, and Parent-Teacher Conferences

This is an evergreen posting. We accept applications on an ongoing basis, primarily for the 2027–2028 school year, and there may not be a current vacancy. We would rather know great teachers before we need them. When a classroom opens, we hire candidates already in conversation with us.

Schedule & Compensation

Part-Time (Non-Exempt, Hourly)

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:30 PM
• $23.56–$27.84 per hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
• $28,975–$34,243 annually

Placement within the range is based on ECPC credential level, relevant experience, and scope of responsibility.

About the Position

Three- to five-year-olds are made for wonder. In our preschool they memorize Scripture through song, recite poetry before they can read it, explore with their hands, and hear rich literature that tells God’s story. You will lead a classroom where young children learn to listen, to obey with joy, to care for one another and for their things, and to love learning before they know it has a name.

You will work closely with our Preschool Director and a Teacher Assistant or Versatile Teacher, inside a PK–12 school that will know your students for the next fifteen years.
