Job summary

AppleTree Bogart is seeking a compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our licensed center. You will support the classroom team, help implement engaging activities, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn through play.

We value teamwork, ongoing professional development, and positive guidance for young learners. Applicants should be at least 18, have a high school diploma, and be willing to meet state licensing requirements and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; early childhood coursework preferred.
• Must meet state licensing and regulatory requirements including background check.
• Effective communication and collaboration with children, families, and team.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Assist with daily activities and curriculum implementation.
• Provide active supervision and maintain required student-teacher ratios.
• Support children’s development through positive guidance and play.
• Assist with classroom routines, organization, and family communication.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)required. Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Previousexperience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting preferred.
• Basic understanding of classroom procedures and willingness to learn state licensing and compliance requirements.
• Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, whererequired), licensing, and regulatory requirements, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with children, families, and team members.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
