Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant at our Winder, GA location. You will support daily classroom activities, assist with Cadence programs, and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children, including those with IEPs. A state-qualifying background check is required, and education in early childhood is preferred.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professional behavior, and ongoing training to grow within a supportive, family-friendly school network.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for Teacher Assistant.
• Experience in early childhood education preferred.
• Ability to obtain background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build professional relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs including IEPs.
• Support planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual, including documenting and reporting accidents.
• Assist with managing, documenting, and reporting escalated child behaviors.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
