Cadence Education in Shakopee, MN is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities under the guidance of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment and assist with Cadence Education programs.

You’ll greet children, support developmentally appropriate curriculum, follow IEPs, and communicate professionally with families. The role includes benefits, tuition discounts, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain background clearances and health screenings.
• Experience in early childhood preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and families daily, building welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing individual developmental and learning needs, following IEPs.
• Support developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report accidents.
• Document and report escalated behaviors; adhere to policies.
• Attend meetings and trainings outside regular hours.
