Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Mason, OH is seeking a Teacher Assistant to work with teachers and families, providing a home-like environment for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years in line with NAEYC guidelines.

You will assist instruction, keep classrooms safe and welcoming, decorate as needed, and communicate with parents to support each child’s growth. Paid training is provided; no evenings or weekends. Benefits include childcare discount, 401(k) with match, PTO and health/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks–12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
