Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Maineville is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support teachers and families, providing a nurturing environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, guided by NAEYC principles.

You will assist with classroom activities, maintain a safe, clean space, and communicate regularly with parents to share updates and celebrate progress. Full-time role with daytime hours and no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
