Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Mason, OH is seeking a Teacher Assistant to support teachers and families, following NAEYC guidelines in a warm, home-like setting.

You will help supervise children ages 6 weeks through 12 years, assist with instruction, prepare learning areas, and communicate with parents. Paid training is provided; we offer benefits including childcare discount, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and holidays. No evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
