Providence Children’s Academy in Coconut Creek, FL, is seeking a passionate, caring full-time Teacher to join our early childhood education team. You will support across classrooms, assist teachers with daily activities, and supervise aftercare, creating a safe and positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Assist with diapering, potty training, and other personal care needs.

About the Role:

Providence Children’s Academy in Coconut Creek, FL, is seeking a passionate, caring, and nurturing full-time Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact during one of the most important stages of a child’s development while working in a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment.

In this role, you will provide support across various classrooms, assist teachers with daily activities and staff breaks, and help supervise and engage students participating in the aftercare program. We are looking for someone who is dependable, patient, enthusiastic, and committed to creating a safe and positive learning environment for every child.

Position hours: 9:30 to 6:00pm or 10am to 6pm or 11:30am to 6:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Support daily classroom routines including circle time, meals, nap time, and transitions


• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for toddlers


• Monitor and supervise children to ensure their health, safety, and well-being at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework preferred


• Previous experience working with toddlers or in a childcare setting is a plus

• Ability to meet Florida DCF childcare staff requirements and background screening


• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)


• Patient, caring, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children


• Strong communication and teamwork skills
