Evergreen Montessori School in San Jose seeks an energetic Preschool Teacher to lead a class, assess current levels, and design instruction to meet students' needs. You will foster a nurturing, engaging classroom and contribute to a cooperative school community.

You will receive in-class training to support entry-level teachers, helping children develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills in a stimulating environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 ECE/CD units required or CDA credential with age-level endorsement or Child Development Permit.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines.
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare or daycare setting preferred.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
• Team player and adaptable.
• Problem-solving and mediation skills.
• Mandatory Certifications: 12 ECE/CD units or CDA, LiveScan, Pediatric First Aid and CPR, MMR and Tdap, TB test, mandated reporter training.
