Job summary

Learn And Play Montessori School in San Carlos seeks dedicated teachers to foster a warm, engaging classroom where children learn through play and exploration. The Montessori + STEM curriculum supports social, physical, verbal and cognitive development while building lifelong learners.

Ideal candidates will partner with families and staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, while adhering to state childcare requirements and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• 12 core ECE Units & Infant/toddler course completed.
• Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Willingness to change diapers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, growth and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
• Implement Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
