Seeking a nurturing Preschool Teacher for our Montessori Preschool

Mandala Children's House is seeking an experienced teacher for our non-profit, developmentally appropriate preschool program, located in the east foothills of San Jose.

Hours: From 20+ hours per week beginning August 2025

Desired Qualifications:

• AS or BS in Early Childhood Education or a minimum of 24 units in Early Childhood Education
• Teacher Child Development Permit

Responsibilities include:

• Work as a member of a cohesive teaching team
• Communicate professionally to support understanding of the school’s program and develop positive relationships with children, parents, and peers
• Nurture social-emotional development and use positive guidance to teach self-control, self-respect, and respect for others
• Assess children's development with the team and communicate effectively through written reports and parent conferences
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum with the team
• Create a safe and secure learning environment by respecting individual differences and needs
