Job summary

The Learning Experience - Oak Creek, WI is seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of roughly 2.5-3 year olds. You will guide daily routines and learning experiences using our LEAP Curriculum to foster language, independence, and social skills.

You will create nurturing, structured activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, and literacy, while supporting language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous professional daycare, preschool, childcare, or early childhood experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with older toddlers or preschool-age children preferred.
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Ability to meet Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements.

• Support toileting readiness and classroom transitions
• Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
• Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with classroom support teachers and center leadership
• Follow Wisconsin childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Preschool Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Oak Creek, WI

Pay: $17-$21 per hour, based on experience and credentials

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Oak Creek is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of children approximately 2.5-3 years old.

This is an exciting stage of early childhood development. Children are building language, independence, friendships, self-help skills, and confidence as they prepare for the preschool years. We're looking for a teacher who can create a nurturing, structured classroom while turning children's natural curiosity into meaningful learning experiences.
