The Learning Experience - Oak Creek, WI is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

This role supports Lead Teachers, helps create safe, engaging classrooms where children learn through play, exploration and positive relationships. We offer full-time hours, a competitive pay rate, and opportunities to grow within our center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with children preferred.
• CDA or ECE coursework a plus.
• Patient, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teachers with daily classroom routines and learning activities
• Engage children through play, art, music, movement, sensory activities, and hands-on learning
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
• Provide attentive supervision and positive guidance
• Help prepare classroom activities and learning materials
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with teachers and center leadership
• Provide classroom and ratio coverage as needed
• Follow Wisconsin childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Location: The Learning Experience - Oak Creek, WI

Pay: $16-$19 per hour, based on experience and credentials

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Oak Creek is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to build or continue a career in childcare. You'll work alongside experienced Lead Teachers to create safe, engaging classrooms where children learn through play, exploration, and positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities
