The Learning Experience - Ledgewood is seeking an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to create an engaging classroom where children are excited to learn, explore, and grow.

As a Preschool Teacher, you'll help children strengthen early academic skills, language, independence, friendships, and confidence through purposeful play and hands-on learning experiences. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Previous daycare/preschool experience preferred.
• Ability to meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Preschool classroom.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships.
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance.
• Observe children's development and maintain required documentation.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with classroom support teachers and center leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment.
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Preschool Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Ledgewood, NJ

Pay: $18-$19 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
