Job summary

The Learning Experience - Hell’s Kitchen is seeking a qualified Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood team in New York City. You will lead a preschool classroom using our L.E.A.P.

Curriculum to foster academic, social-emotional, and independent skills essential for kindergarten readiness. We invite candidates with a BA in Early Childhood Education and at least 90 college credits, plus prior preschool experience, to contribute to a nurturing, structured environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or higher required.
• Minimum of 90 college credits in Early Childhood Education required.
• Previous preschool or early childhood classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Dependable, nurturing, organized, and passionate about early education.
• Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate preschool experiences.
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Support early literacy, math, science, language, and social-emotional development.
• Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.

• Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behavior guidance.
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and center leadership.
• Maintain classroom safety, organization, and required documentation.
• Follow applicable New York City childcare regulations and center policies.

Pay: $22–$28 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Hell's Kitchen is seeking a qualified and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team.
