Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) through HELPNM’s ECD program is seeking a temporary classroom coverage provider to support children aged 0-5 in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will assist with daily routines, meals, transitions, and active supervision while aligning with Head Start standards and NM childcare licensing requirements. The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and CDA (or willingness to obtain CDA within 6 months), bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and essential

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary classroom coverage and support a safe, nurturing learning environment for children ages 0-5.
• Assist with daily routines, activities, transitions, meals, rest, outdoor play and supervision.
• Work with the center team to support school readiness while following Head Start and state licensing requirements.
• Actively supervise children by sight and sound and uphold health and safety practices.
