Job summary

Humble Hearts Academy Preschool & Infant Center is seeking Substitute Teachers who are passionate about growing in the Early Childhood Education field. You will help create and deliver lesson plans, implement curriculum, and assess children's needs while maintaining a safe, welcoming classroom.

Join a team that values growth, mentoring, and professional development with flexible scheduling. A background check, immunizations, physical exam, and TB test are required by licensing.

Qualifications

• Background check required.
• Immunizations (MMR, TDaP) as required by Community Care Licensing.
• Physical Exam as required by Community Care Licensing.
• Negative TB test.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students.
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff.
• Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the well-being of the school and its community.
• Assist with meals and personal care as needed.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING:

• Having fun!

• Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff.
• Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.
• Serve and monitor meals
• Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, hand washing
• Supervise children during nap time
• Assisting with any duties as needed by the program, such as dishes, cleaning, and laundry
