Job Details

We are looking for substitute teachers who are creative, energetic, and committed to working with young children to join our talented team and continue to grow professionally and personally.

This position is a substitute teaching. You must be flexible and open to all ages.

Supervise / Teach Children

• Supervise children in the classroom and on the playground; assure proper safety and oversee children’s activities
• Observe and evaluate children and provide for individual and group needs; communicate with the Director and other teachers to maintain consistency for children.
• Collaborate with other educators and Administration
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Certification in child CPR/First Aid
• BA in Child Development (preferred) or a minimum of 12 ECC Units and Early Childhood Education Experience
