AHRC New York City is seeking a Preschool Speech Therapist (SLP) for Francis of Paola ELC in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The role is full-time with hours 8:30 A.M.–3:00 P.M., 10-month program with a 30-day summer session.

The candidate will deliver speech-language pathology services aligned with IEPs, collaborate with teachers and therapists, complete IEPs and progress reports, and support assistive technology access for students with communication needs.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with students with autism is required.
• New York State Licensed Speech Therapist is required.
• Bachelors or Masters in Speech Therapy from an accredited program.

Aufgaben

• Deliver speech-language pathology services per student IEPs and assist in service scheduling.
• Provide consultation to Teachers of Speech and Language Disabilities and Clinical Fellows at meetings and as needed.
• Provide mandated speech services as per student IEPs and update progress reports.
• Maintain session notes reflecting activities in individual and group therapy sessions.
• Assess students annually and prepare progress and annual reports with recommendations.
• Complete IEPs addressing communication needs and update as needed.
• Assist in acquiring assistive technology for students who need it.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings to represent communication needs.
