Job summary

Gersh Academy in Brooklyn, NY, seeks a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to support students ages 5–21 with speech, language, and communication needs. The SLP will collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists to implement IFSP/IEP goals and adjust intervention plans based on outcomes.

On-site at our Bronx location with occasional travel, the role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM (4 PM once weekly).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
• Current NY license required.
• TSSLD certification preferred.
• PROMPT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote optimal function and engagement in meaningful activities.
• Collaborate with families and other disciplines to address goals in IFSP/IEP.
• Provide speech and language therapy/evaluations for language, articulation, and voice.
• Work with children who have autism.
• Maintain documentation regarding student services.
• Write evaluations and progress reports.
• Consult with parents, teachers, and colleagues.
