Job summary

Prismhr Hire is hiring for compassionate education professionals to support young learners in a preschool classroom. This role requires morning availability on school days, with multiple schedules (8-11 AM or 10 AM-1 PM), Monday-Thursday, and potential for extra hours.

You will work with teachers to implement activities, assist children during instruction and routines, and help maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in early childhood education preferred.
• Experience with young children in classroom, childcare, or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with children, families, and team members.
• Strong patience, flexibility, and a positive approach to supporting child development.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in implementing daily classroom activities and lesson plans.
• Assist designated children during instruction, play, meals, transitions, and outdoor activities.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to children as needed.
• Encourage positive behavior, social development, and age-appropriate independence.
• Assist with classroom materials, setup, cleanup, and preparation for activities.
• Observe and report student needs, progress, and concerns to the teacher or special education staff.
• Support inclusive practices and help ensure each child feels welcomed and valued.
