Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. seeks a part-time Support Staff/Teacher Assistant for AM or PM paraprofessional roles in a district-wide New Jersey public school setting. You will assist the classroom teacher with 3- to 5-year-olds, support lesson delivery, track progress, and provide individualized attention.

Shifts run 8:00–12:00 or 10:35–2:35, depending on the school. Requirements include 60 college credits or an associate degree (or PARAPRO Exam), at least two years of preschool

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 60 college credits or an Associate's degree or higher, or successful PARAPRO Exam.
• Experience: At least two years working with preschool children; 12 credits in early childhood or developmental psychology.
• Tech: Basic computer use; Promethean Board knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teacher and a part-time paraprofessional in daily activities.
• Help with lesson plans, materials prep, and student progress notes.
• Assist with bathroom, meals, and nap routines; monitor student safety.
• Maintain classroom logs and attendance records; communicate with parents as needed.
