Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support preschool students in a part-time contract for the 26/27 school year in Illinois. The educator will provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.

Ideal candidates will have an Illinois PEL, LBS1 endorsement, and certification in Early Childhood Special Education or Early Childhood Education, with experience in preschool

Qualifications

• Active Illinois LPEL/PEL required.
• LBS1 Endorsement required.
• Early Childhood Special Education or Early Childhood Education certification required.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a special education setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, individualized instruction to preschool students requiring special education services.
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and adjust teaching approaches as needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and development.
• Collaborate with related service providers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and participate in required meetings.
