Qualifications

• Must meet paraprofessional requirements for Alaska through various methods.
• Experience in general education or special education settings is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional services to students under a special education teacher's supervision.
• Prepares or modifies instructional materials as needed.
• Collaborates with colleagues and staff to support student learning.
