Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet paraprofessional requirements for Alaska: 48 college credits, passing exam score, or equivalent.
• Basic literacy skills in reading, writing, and math.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional support in reading, math, writing, etc. under supervision.
• Prepares or modifies instructional materials for students as directed.
• Collects data aligned with IEP goals and objectives.
• Collaborates with colleagues and staff to implement programs.
• Assists with routines, transitions, and bus duties as needed.
