Granby Public Schools seeks a Preschool Special Education teacher to support students on the Autism Spectrum and/or with Intellectual Disabilities. The role emphasizes collaboration with families, data-driven instruction, and implementing behavior plans.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential to success. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, MA licensure for Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) with SEI endorsement, and experience with autism and challenging behaviors.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred
• Massachusetts licensure in Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) with SEI endorsement
• Experience with Autism Spectrum and challenging behaviors preferred
• CORI/SORI/DCF and fingerprint checks as determined by the Superintendent
• Competency in educational technology

Responsabilidades

• Champion the district's effort to serve all students
• Commitment to curriculum, instruction, and assessment with fidelity
• Analyze data and use to inform instruction and support student achievement
• Plan programs that meet individual student needs and abilities
• Collaborate with teachers to differentiate curriculum for students with special needs
• Maintain records and assist with IEPs and progress reports
• Oversee paraprofessionals as assigned by principal or director
• Participate in case conferences and faculty meetings as needed
• Ensure a productive classroom environment and effective behavior management
• Engage in ongoing professional development
