Job summary

Bucks IU is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a long-term substitute role serving pre-school to early intervention students across Bucks County. The position is on-site in general and special education settings, with itinerant locations and travel between sites.

Candidates must have a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, PA instructional certificate for SLP PK-12, CCC-SLP, and PA licensure; CF candidates will be considered. Bilingual skills encouraged; remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Pennsylvania Department of Education certificate in Speech-Language Impaired PK-12 is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required*.
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by PA Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs is required*.

Responsibilities

• Assess and intervene in speech sounds, language, pragmatics, literacy, AAC and dysphagia.
• Deliver evidence-based support across general and special education settings.
• Develop IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Collect and analyze data for progress monitoring and reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues on IU and district initiatives.
