Job summary

Qualifications

• CDA credential and 18 months experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• DHS qualification for licensing director.
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers Certification within thirty days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising staff, participate in evaluations, and resolve conflicts.
• Develop and use developmentally appropriate materials and activities.
• Plan and monitor children’s daily activities.
• Ensure safety and accurate attendance records.
• Develop annual budget and purchase equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidential files and student records.
• Coordinate medication administration with health staff and comply with DHS/DES regs.
• Maintain positive behavior standards and foster parent-school relationships.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings; plan breaks and summer camps.
