Job summary

Shadow Rock Preschool in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom where children grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. You will design engaging lessons, guide a co-teacher, and partner with families to support each child’s development.

You will manage daily routines, document progress, and ensure compliance with licensing rules. The role emphasizes playbased, hands-on learning for a class of 13 with CDA advancement

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lead or assistant teacher in a licensed preschool
• Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement an age-appropriate curriculum in line with Shadow Rock Preschool's playbased philosophy
• Lead daily classroom activities including circle time, small groups, outdoor play, and arts
• Assess and document child progress and milestones for parent conferences
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom meeting state regulations
• Collaborate with the assistant teacher to keep the instructional team cohesive
