Job summary

ChildCareGroup seeks a Preschool Resource Teacher to provide a safe, engaging learning environment for 3-5 year olds and to support program standards including CCG, NAEYC, Head Start, and Texas requirements.

As a substitute in classroom settings, you will collaborate with the Center Manager and Education Specialist, participate in parent meetings, and help maintain daily instructional routines and learning centers.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include CDA or associate degree in child development or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Head Start/Education program familiarity as part of duties.
• One year of experience with young children preferred and ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and implementation of activities appropriate to development levels.
• Manage classroom routine and maintain daily activities.
• Provide safe, attractive learning centers and support after-school time extensions.
• Build strong relationships with children and families and collaborate with staff.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

PRESCHOOL Child Development Associate (CDA)

Associate's degree in child development or related field

Bachelor's degree
