Job summary

ChildCareGroup seeks a Preschool Resource Teacher to provide a safe, welcoming learning environment for children ages 3-5. You will substitute in classrooms under supervision, support daily activities, and help maintain program standards including Head Start and NAEYC.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CDA/AA in child development or related field, and preferred 1 year of experience with young children.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to work as a team member.
• Good organizational skills and written and oral communication essential.
• One year of experience working with young children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and implementation of activities for children as developmentally appropriate.
• Maintain routine and setup learning centers for daily activities.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and communicate with parents.
• Learn and use Head Start Electronic Information System; training provided.
