Job summary

ChildCareGroup seeks a Full Time Preschool Resource Teacher in Mesquite, TX, to provide a safe, healthy classroom and support growth of children ages 3-5. The role serves as a substitute teacher across centers, reporting to the Center Manager or Education Specialist and upholding Head Start and program standards.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing activities, managing classroom routines, building relationships with families, and coordinating with staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PRESCHOOL CDA or Associate's degree in child development or related field required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, preparation and implementation of activities with children appropriate to development level; extends daily instructional time during after-school time.
• Manages classroom routine and setup; maintains safe, attractive learning centers.
• Develops strong relationships with children and families; collaborates with staff and volunteers.
• Participates in parent meetings and conferences as needed; supports Head Start and program standards.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
