Job summary

Delightful Days Learning Center in Ohio is seeking a lead teacher for our 3 1/2-4 1/2-year-old classroom. We are a high quality, family-owned center that values our staff and treats teachers as essential members of the team.

The successful candidate will create and implement lessons using The Creative Curriculum, supervise the class, coordinate with a co-teacher, and handle routine classroom maintenance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children and knowledge of child development.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Available Monday to Friday 7:45–4:45.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans using The Creative Curriculum.
• Supervise and care for children and help them meet their daily needs.
• Work closely with their co-teacher in a mature and respectful manner
• Daily light cleaning and maintenance of the classroom (sweeping, wiping tables, keeping student's restroom tidy etc)
• Managing supplies and classroom materials
• Completing required paperwork such as observations and keeping track of assessments

What You'll Do

Requirements

• Must be 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to work M-F (Hours will most likely be 7:45-4:45)
• Must have experience with children and knowledge of child development
