Job summary

The Valley of the Sun YMCA is seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher in Chandler, AZ for a part-time, hourly position. You will interact with children using engaging activities and assist the lead teacher with lesson plans to create memorable experiences for each child.

This role requires you to be 18+, enjoy working with children, and hold a High School diploma or equivalent, plus at least six months of related experience. Fingerprint clearance and TB status are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Must enjoy working with children.
• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum of 6 months qualifying experience.
• Current fingerprint clearance card and negative TB or the ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Interact with children through activities and lesson plans.
• Create lasting memories for each child, each day.
• Work alongside lead teacher to plan and implement lesson plans.
