Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a State Pre-K Assistant Teacher in Lancaster, CA to support 4-year-olds in a licensed childcare setting. You will follow program requirements, observe and assess children, and communicate with families to promote development.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends, and a competitive benefits package including health, tuition assistance, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field, or an active CDA in Preschool.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and center requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Instruct the 4-year-olds based on each child's needs and program requirements.
• Follow licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure daily care.
• Develop observation, assessment, and planning skills and communicate with families.
• Create engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and learning experiences.
