Job summary

Boulder Valley School District is seeking a Paraeducator for the Eldorado K-8 preschool program in Superior, CO. This hourly, 9-month position (0.075 FTE) supports an ECSE teacher with supervision and instructional tasks for preschool students.

Responsibilities include assisting with curriculum, data collection for IEPs, and personal care duties, with mandatory trainings and a strong emphasis on safety and confidentiality. Close collaboration with staff is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet or exceed the Colorado Early Childhood Education qualification requirements; entry within 6 months of hire.
• Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform related personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist ECSE teacher with supervision and instructional support for preschool students.
• Assist in implementing classroom curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Assist with data collection for IEPs, behavior plans, and progress reports.
• Assist with personal care tasks and safety plans for preschool children.
• Collaborate with team, maintain confidentiality, and attend required trainings.
• Maintain required records and assist with licensing and paperwork.
