Job summary

The Boulder Valley School District seeks a dedicated School Age Care (SAC) Special Education Paraeducator to support students with intensive needs within the SAC program. You will assist in classrooms, cafeteria, buses, and field trips, implementing IEP-based supports and health-related services under supervision.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, English proficiency, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds; diaper, feed; complete other delegated nursing and health care duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to special education students in regular and special education classrooms.
• Assist in crisis situations and documentation.
• Follow behavior plans and CPI/First Aid procedures.
• Support students during field trips and buses, meals, labs, and activities.
• Collaborate with teachers on IEP goals and progress documentation.
• Attend required professional development and maintain certifications.
