Job summary

The Goddard School of Georgetown (Williams Drive) is seeking a Lead Teacher to develop and implement developmentally appropriate curricula in a nurturing setting.

You will maintain a clean, safe classroom, adapt activities to individual children, and build strong relationships with families while supporting growth and learning in a play-based environment.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the listed qualifications.
• AA or BA Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Special Education-ECE or a non-ECE degree with 15 units of ECE-specific coursework.
• 8+ years of experience in a TRS or nationally-accredited program, OR 2+ years of teaching in a TRS or nationally accredited program with CDA or TEA-approved credential or Montessori-related credential or AA/BA in Early Childhood or related field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy classroom environment.
• Adapt learning experiences to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Foster positive relationships with children and families.

Education

ECE degree or higher with 15 ECE units

8+ years in TRS/nationally-accredited program

CDA or Montessori or related credential or AA/BA in ECE
