Job summary

Early Learning Corps, powered by Ampact, seeks an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in building early literacy and numeracy skills. You will work with a teacher, delivering proven activities and receiving coaching throughout the program year.

The position is on-site, full-time with a biweekly AmeriCorps stipend; 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with holiday breaks. Part-time options are also available for 27.5 or 20 hours.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent; U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Able to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with daily learning activities.
• Track student progress and consult with on-site coach.
• Record scores in tracking software.
• Commit to growth through coaching and training.
• Share experiences with the community.
