Job summary

Hamilton Township School District in New Jersey is seeking a Preschool Leave Replacement Teacher for a PreK classroom. This position serves as a leave replacement at an elementary school site, with the start date anticipated January 4, 2027.

Replacement duration may vary based on the leave period. Compensation includes daily rate steps: days 1–20 at $130 per day and days 21+ at $340 per day; benefits are available after a probationary period.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Instructional Certificate: Early Childhood Education P-3 (CEAS, CE, Provisional, or Standard)
• Knowledge/experience with NJ Preschool Teaching & Learning Standards
• Knowledge/experience with best practices in early childhood education
• Ability to work collaboratively with families, grade level teachers, and school/district administration
• Desire to provide students with early learning opportunities in mathematics and literacy
• Experience with Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus)
