Job summary

Hamilton Township School District Mercer County seeks elementary leave-replacement teachers (K-5) to fill in for colleagues on leave. Positions vary by school with an expectation to support elementary grade levels and maintain instructional continuity.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• New Jersey Instructional Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility, or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing
  • Early Childhood Education P-3 or
  • Elementary Education K-6
• Knowledge/experience with NJ Student Learning Standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with other grade level teachers
• Willingness to differentiate instruction and utilize technology to enhance student learning (particularly in mathematics and language arts literacy)
• Knowledge of state assessment expectations and test specifications (where applicable)

Salary:

• Days 1-20 - $130.00 a day

Leave replacement teachers receive benefits after 5 consecutive months of working (single health benefits)

In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off.
